Esmé Ablaza is a first-year at Barnard College who hails from Palo Alto, California. In high school, she edited the features magazine and started an online radio station. At Barnard, Esmé writes for The Blue and White and is part of Mujeres and Liga Filipina. She is a proud WBAR reject and aspires to have good enough taste in music to be successful in reapplying next semester. She hopes to one day run for public office and become a journalist, though not in that order. Her hobbies include dressing as casually as possible for every event she attends and complaining about how New York City "has no chill."
