photographers: we're looking for regular photographers for ongoing interviews in cities across the world. If you're interested in being contacted about work, please submit a portfolio to sophia@mythosmag.com, making sure to note your location.
Please note that we only provide compensation for film costs right now, and we know how important it is to pay artists. Our editor-in-chief spends more of her own time and money on this project than you can imagine, and we're working on becoming able to provide cash for all involved.

writers: we have a great essay-column about woman-related things! Learn more about submissions here.

bloggers/archivists/etc: we're looking for a historically-minded, culturally-aware, and aesthetically-discerning person to run our blog indefinitely. if this sounds like you, please drop me a line at sophia@mythosmag.com.

Tell us about your mother, your partner, your partner's mother, your professor, your mentor, your sister, your favorite filmmaker, your grandmother, your librarian, your hero of American public life, your girl crush, your spirit guide, or yourself.

We prefer to conduct our interviews in person, but it is possible to arrange Skype sessions with local photographers anywhere in the world. If you're suggesting a non-NYC-based subject, it's helpful (though not necessary!) for you to suggest a local photography contact, as well!

We appreciate and seek out diversity of all kinds, and speak with anyone who calls herself a woman.
